Tunç Çakır

Tunç Çakır stands out as a versatile musician, producer, and sound engineer with deep expertise in electronic music production, jazz, and Latin music, creating works both in Türkiye and internationally.
Having gained hundreds of recording and stage experiences throughout his career, Çakır has carved out a unique position in contemporary music production with his approach that brings together different disciplines. As one of the founding partners of VAEMI, a pioneering initiative in analog synthesizer production in Türkiye, he also maintains an active production practice in the field of electronic music technologies.
Working at Volt.Age Studio in Istanbul, he undertakes production, recording, mixing, and mastering processes for many artists from different genres; and is notable for his hybrid approach that combines analog and digital techniques.
On stage, he has shared the stage with prominent figures from the jazz and pop music worlds; and has developed his musical approach, based on improvisation and rhythmic language, in various projects. During this process, his jazz and groove-based musical understanding has intersected with contemporary electronic productions, creating a unique space for expression.
