Pınar Ünal

Pınar Ünal started her music education at the Istanbul University State Conservatory, part-time Opera Department, during her high school years. She continued his undergraduate education in Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory Musicology Department. She studied harmony and flute with Nail Yavuzoğlu, piano with Faris Akarsu, and studied Turkish music theory with Alaaddin Yavaşça and Yavuz Özüstün. While she was studying flute with Bülent Pet, she performed side flute at the workshops organized by Miyazawa and Sankyo flute brands. She completed his master’s degree in EthnoMusicology at Haliç University with his field research on Circassian music. A best selection of jazz standards, bossa nova, funk and R&B music awaits listeners in her repertoire.
