Jean-Luc Geronimi

From his 18 years of touring with the renowned polyphonic group A Filetta, Jean-Luc Geronimi retains vivid memories of exchanges, sharing, and moments of communion with people from all over the world. “I am a citizen of the Earth,” he says with a shy smile. Within this iconic group of Corsican culture, his warm and nuanced voice featured on albums such as the soundtrack of Himalaya, l’enfance d’un chef, composed by Bruno Coulais, which received the César Award for Best Original Music in 2000. After stepping away from A Filetta to focus on a more personal project, he has reconnected with more intimate collaborations, notably with Nico Torracinta.
