Esra Kayıkçı

In 2016, she performed as a semi-finalist at the Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition, where Angelique Kidjo was the jury president. In the same year, she released her first album, Bozgun Hatıra, consisting of her own compositions. In 2017, she won first place in the solo vocal category at the Made in NY Jazz Competition, where Mike Stern, Randy Brecker and Lenny White were jury members, and performed at Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Trakya University in 2018 From the Archeology Master’s Program; she graduated from Bahçeşehir University Jazz Master’s Program in 2019. She released her single titled Kelebek Orkide in 2020; she released her second album called Seslen Bana in 2023. Her book published, titled ‘Women and Music from Kalliope to Sappho’ in 2024, written together with Dr. Işık Şahin.
