“Yürüyen Merdiven” is the story of twenty years of friendship and the journey of its music. The first thing that comes to mind is a mechanical escalator; A two-legged, loving, running, dancing, breathing escalator. The melodic approach of the drums and the percussive characters of the piano are intertwined; An Escalator who is eager to take everyone he meets on his journey with him, with a balanced, lively and mischievous identity.
In this concert, Yürüyen Merdiven will be accompanied by Bora Çeliker on vocal and guitar as well.

Saxophonist and flutist Vasko Atanasovski is one of the most creative and versatile Slovenian composers and musicians, well known for his cross-genre collaborations with world famous jazz, rock, classical, traditional musicians and his masterful approach to all styles of music. Up to this date he has released 13 highly acclaimed albums and earned numerous audience and critics’ compliments for his performances and compositions home and abroad. He is a regular guest on the European festivals and concert circuit and has also performed in India, China, Latin America and New York. His original compositions have also found a way into the world of theatre, dance and puppet shows, repertoires of eminent soloists, orchestras, ensembles and choirs

Bora Çeliker began playing guitar after elementary school, and throughout university he led a popular blues band that improvised while remaining true to the stylistic traditions of the genre. Taking cues from masters like T-bone Walker and B. B. King, he turned his attention to jazz musicians such as Lester Young, Johnny Hodges, and Charlie Christian. Since then, his relationship with music has deepened, becoming a way to understand and appreciate art and life in general. He enjoys playing (and even singing) original material alongside standard melodies. He also participates in free-form improvisation groups and collaborates with experimental visual artists.
