Pınar Ünal Quartet feat. Yahya Dai

She released her first single record, “Renkler”, Pınar Ünal continues to prepare for the EP she plans to release in the near future.
Pınar Ünal began her music education part-time in the Opera Department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory during high school. She continued her undergraduate studies in the Musicology Department of the Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory. She studied harmony and flute with Nail Yavuzoğlu, piano with Faris Akarsu, and Turkish music theory with Alaaddin Yavaşça and Yavuz Özüstün. While taking flute lessons with Bülent Evcil, she also performed the flute in workshops organized by the Miyazawa and Sankyo flute brands. She completed her master’s degree in EthnoMusicology at Haliç University, conducting field research on Circassian music. A colourful selection of jazz standards, bossa nova, funk and rnb music awaits listeners in its repertoire.
