Özgü Dündar is a jazz vocalist based in Istanbul. She studied piano part-time at the Çukurova Uni-versity State Conservatory and continues her studies in trumpet with Şenova Ülker and jazz vocals with Sibel Köse. Her music combines modern jazz language, groove-focused structure, and a con-temporary improvisational approach. In 2024, she received a 50% scholarship to Berklee College of Music. Actively involved in the Turkish jazz scene, Dündar has performed in various jazz clubs and at major festivals, including the Istanbul Jazz Festival, Boğaziçi Jazz Festival, Akbank Jazz Festival, and Nilüfer Young Jazz Festival. She is also a winner of the IKSV Young Jazz+ and the 20th Nardis Young Jazz Musician Competition. Her repertoire is broad, encompassing jazz standards as well as original pieces with lyrics written by herself, reflecting a personal narrative style.
