Özenç Düzenli Trio

Özenc Düzenli, a finalist in the 2025 Nardis Young Jazz Musician Competition, is a London-based jazz guitar-ist with ten years of performance experience. Özenc began playing guitar at the age of 11. After graduating from university and performing at festivals in the UK and Europe for two years, he decided to move to New York to pursue a master’s degree and perform. Since then, Özenc has been working on various projects, including “Yiasena,” a project with alto saxophonist and composer Sofia Roubati that brings together reper-toire from Turkey, Greece, and other neighboring countries and reinterprets them within a jazz ensemble. Tonight, however, Özenc will present his guitar trio, featuring Eleazar Ruiz on double bass and Louis Brown on drums. The trio will perform original pieces as well as some well-known and lesser-known jazz standards.
