Lobanov & Shalamov Quartet

Peter Shalamov – jazz pianist, composer and a bandleader from Russia. At the age of 5 he began attending to a music school for kids taking piano lessons in classical music. Over the course of 9 year education he was participating in numerous musical competitions including international ones. After the music school gra-duation he changes the course of his music education and studies jazz piano at High School of Arts in Ros-tov-on-Don, and performing with a Student’s Big Band on various jazz feativals. Now he is maintaining a jazz career in Turkey being a high-in-demand jazz pianist, performing at venues across Istanbul and
participating in jazz festivals including Genç Caz Festival and AkraJazz.
The theme for the evening would be his original compositions and arrangements of chosen jazz standards.
