Jerome Ciosi & Friends

Formed for this series of concerts in Turkey, the group brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds around guitarist and composer Jérôme Ciosi: a rhythm section of pure Parisian jazzmen (Stéphane Chandelier on drums and Fabien Marcoz on double bass), a singer with a crystal-clear voice, Francine Massiani—equally at ease with Corsican songs as with international repertoire—and one of the key figures in Corsican cultural life, the eclectic musician Jérôme Casalonga, on soprano saxophone and vocals. Together, they draw from their Mediterranean roots to make jazz sing in the sunlight.
