“İstanbul Jazz Community”

Istanbul Jazz Community is a musical group that draws from the ensemble tradition of jazz music. Their repertoire includes works by important composers and arrangers such as Wynton Marsalis, Bill Cunliffe, and Dave Wolpe. Interpreting these works collaboratively, focusing on their details and musical expression, the Septet places a strong ensemble sound and communication between musicians at the heart of their music.

The group’s aim is to produce music regularly by coming together around good compositions and strong arrangements, and to share the richness offered by ensemble music with the audience.
