Born in Istanbul, jazz vocalist and electrical-electronics engineer Göksu Sandıkçı took her first steps on stage as a soloist in school orchestras due to her strong interest in music. She began her jazz journey in 2014 with Sibel Köse Vocal Jazz Workshop and continued by completing the Bahçeşehir University Jazz Certificate Program. She has worked with many esteemed musicians such as Başak Yavuz, Janusz Szprot, Kevin Mahogany, Amy London, Barry Harris, and Randy Esen; and currently continues her musical collaboration with Elif Çağlar.
Göksu has performed on prestigious stages and in various jazz festivals in Turkey, including Nardis Jazz Club, The Badau, and Yeniköy Jazz Days. Internationally, she performed with Veneto Jazz in Venice in 2018, at Mau Mau in London in 2019, and at the San Diego Museum of Art in 2021.
Having moved to Switzerland a few years ago due to her professional career, she continues her musical activities actively there. She has performed her own project at Caux Palace in Montreux, and a special Ella Fitzgerald Christmas project at Jumeaux Jazz Club in Lausanne. She has also taken part in jam sessions at Montreux Jazz Festival and Cully Jazz Festival. Additionally, she contributed to the organization team of the 2025 Cully Jazz Festival.
With a repertoire mainly consisting of jazz standards, blues, funk, soul, R&B, and bossa nova, Göksu Sandıkçı establishes a strong connection with her audience through her emotionally rich interpretations and warm stage presence.
