Barış Öztürk Trio

Barış Öztürk, a double bassist and bass guitarist, is one of the young musicians actively working in the Is-tanbul jazz scene. Born in Karabük, he is currently pursuing his undergraduate studies in Jazz at the Istan-bul University State Conservatory. He interprets classic jazz standards, drawing inspiration from double bass masters such as Ray Brown, Christian McBride, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen (NHØP), and Paul Cham-bers. He regularly performs in Istanbul jazz clubs.
