Reflections on a Jade reflects the musical reflections of the artist’s life journey over the past 12 years. At its core, the album is an introspection, a reflection, and, like the reflections of light on jade, the reflections of the past on Jade. According to Far Eastern belief, the color green facilitates the regeneration of fertility, life, and the spirit of the earth. This album is also an album of rebirth. Paths extend from Istanbul to the ancient cities of Italy, from the chaos of Istanbul to the verdant riverbanks and ancient cities; from Morlupo to Viterbo, from Orvieto to Rome… And along this path, a little girl discovers herself, life, and the courage to be herself.
