“Yürüyen Merdiven” is the story of twenty years of friendship and the journey of its music. The first thing that comes to mind is a mechanical escalator; A two-legged, loving, running, dancing, breathing escalator. The melodic approach of the drums and the percussive characters of the piano are intertwined; An Escalator who is eager to take everyone he meets on his journey with him, with a balanced, lively and mischievous identity.
In this concert, Yürüyen Merdiven will be accompanied by Bora Çeliker on vocal and guitar as well.

Bora Çeliker began playing guitar after elementary school, and throughout university he led a popular blues band that improvised while remaining true to the stylistic traditions of the genre. Taking cues from masters like T-bone Walker and B. B. King, he turned his attention to jazz musicians such as Lester Young, Johnny Hodges, and Charlie Christian. Since then, his relationship with music has deepened, becoming a way to understand and appreciate art and life in general. He enjoys playing (and even singing) original material alongside standard melodies. He also participates in free-form improvisation groups and collaborates with experimental visual artists.
