Melis Öğüt

Melis Öğüt is a young guitarist. She is a student at the German High School. She is closely interested in jazz/funk/fusion genres.
Last year (2025), in November, she was selected as the official young generation artist of Gibson guitars. On February 28, 2026, she performed at Gibson Garage in London. In September 2025, she performed with her band at the Bozcaada Jazz Festival – she was selected through an open call. She has been working with musician Kıraç since the beginning of 2025. In January 2026, she won first place in the “Solo Guitar” category in the first round of the international music competition “Jugend musiziert,” and competed in the second round in Rome on March 20, 2026. She received an award at the Nardis Young Jazz Musician 2026 Competition.
