Kemal Mutluergil

He began his musical journey in the 5th grade of middle school with the trumpet. While at Koç High School, he had the opportunity to play in various events, most notably with the Sevgi Gönül Art Night musical orchestra. Also in high school, he began taking trumpet lessons from Şenova Ülker and has been studying classical and jazz with her for over 7 years.
After graduating from high school in 2021, he entered Sabancı University on a full scholarship. There, he performed with groups in various styles, from Turkish music to funk, accompanied by the clarinet, within the university’s music club. In 2023, he founded his own fusion project and gained the opportunity to perform. In addition, he has been playing in the Cemal Reşit Rey Jazz Orchestra since November 2024. While at
university, he also took piano lessons from Hatice Mertcan, who played for many years at the State Opera and Ballet, and continues to do so.
