A unique live performance at Nardis Jazz Club on the 6th of May 2026.
The Lefteris Christofis Trio performs live at Nardis Jazz Club on May 6, presenting a program based on Christofis’ personal discography and compositional identity.
Lefteris Christofis, guitarist and composer, a Blue Note Records and Benedetto Guitars artist, stands among the most distinctive voices of the European music scene. Educated at Anglia University in Cambridge and shaped by his years in London, he has developed a highly personal musical language marked by lyricism, refined harmonic writing, and strong narrative expression.
His music is defined by the recognizable “Grecian Guitar Style” — a personal approach that conveys imagery, inner states, and emotional landscapes, highlighting the expressive depth of both guitar and composition.
He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Paul Wertico, Jeff Berlin, Chico Freeman, and Dominic Di Piazza. His discography includes Kalesma: with British Friends, Mythoplasia, Nous Icons, and ManTis, ανδ ηis forthcoming album Galassio, featuring Paul Wertico (drums) and Arild Andersen (double bass), while his work has been presented in international festivals and venues, establishing a distinct artistic identity.
For over 25 years, he has been the Artistic Director of Music Center Athens, and he is also the founder and Artistic Director of the Hellenic International Jazz Festival (Jazzèt Festival).
Featuring: Lakis Tzimkas on bass, is one of the most accomplished bass players of the Greek scene, with a long-standing presence in recordings and live performances and Nikos Touliatos on drums, is a versatile and creative percussionist and drummer, known for his distinctive approach to rhythm and his participation in significant musical projects such as the Olympics in 2004.
The Lefteris Christofis Trio functions as a dynamic ensemble where experience, virtuosity, and individual expression shape a compelling live presence.
