Alara Noyan Quintet

Born in Istanbul in 1994, Alara Noyan discovered her connection with music during her childhood when she prepared her own choreographies and sang at home with a comb in her hand. Growing up in a musical envi-ronment, Noyan’s family was also an important factor in reinforcing her interest in music. This passion, shaped by classical piano training, eventually turned into a professional field.
At the Lycée Saint Benoît d’Istanbul, where she studied, she performed in school musicals such as Grease and Moonlight Chaos, participated in many events as the school’s soloist in various competitions. During this period, she made it to the finals by placing in the top three in the music competition “Music Explo-rer” broadcast on the French television channel France Ô.
Alara Noyan, who completed the English Advertising undergraduate program at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2013-2017, studied Journalism and Communication at IHECS (Institut des Hautes Études des Communications Sociales) in Brussels, Belgium in 2015.
Her interest in jazz music began with a short-term jazz vocal training with Çağlar Süalp. Then she worked on jazz harmony and piano with Can Alpay. She worked with Sibel Köse’s jazz vocal workshop in 2020-2021. She graduated Bahçeşehir University Jazz Academy Certificate Program in 2021-2022. She has been contin-uing her jazz vocal studies with Randy Esen since 2022.
