Jérôme Casalonga

Jérôme Casalonga is a multi-instrumentalist (wind instruments, percussion), composer, scenographer, and
director of the National Center for Musical Creation Voce in Pigna, Corsica. He is the founder of Zamballarana,
a flagship group of the new Corsican music movement. He teaches and gives Master Classes at the
conservatories of Toulon and Marseille, as well as in various music schools across Italy and France. He is also a
lecturer at the University of Corsica, where he teaches in the DE/DU program for traditional Corsican and
Mediterranean music. He has written and composed over 150 songs and a series of vocal and instrumental
works for his ensembles.
